Modifying cars has been popular almost as long as cars themselves have been around. It seems now more than ever everyone is doing it. It is fun. It can be addicting. It can be done right, and it can be done wrong…Very wrong.

This blog was created to showcase these poorly modified cars from around the country. Coming from southern California, arguably the epicenter of the “Ricer Nation,” the creators of this site became fed up with these “Fast and Furious” inspired abominations and wanted an outlet, eventually leading to the creation of this website.

Ricer used to describe a poorly modified Asian car. Although it still accurately describes that group, it has grown to become a term that describes all horrid machines – whether they are European, American, Japanese or anything in between.
